Logic group were appointed to lead the site selection and lease negotiation of an 8.5 hectare site. Our commission was extended to include full project management services to complete the design and manage the construction of this fast tracked design and construct project.

The building was designed to an importance level 4 classification and delivered within 12 months from inception to completion. Under normal circumstances, this project would typically take Police in excess of 3 years to complete. It resulted in becoming the fastest and most cost effective major metropolitan Police station ever constructed by Police and was delivered on project and within budget.

The location of the buildings, close to the epicentre of the February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake, together with government requirements that all building s achieve a IL4 classification created a challenge with the delivery of this building.
