Papa Kainga is Kathmandu’s new 3-level, 4650sqm Christchurch headquarters, and holds a 5 Green Star Design rating for efficiency and sustainability.
Sustainability features include a high-performance double-glazed façade; automated sun-tracking blinds; and a highly efficient, above-Code ventilation system to provide a healthier indoor environment for staff. Both FSC-certified and recycled timber from buildings destroyed in the quakes was used, with 90% of construction waste diverted from landfill.
The Challenge.
Logic FM aligned itself closely with the Kathmandu ethos: addressing full lifecycle waste reduction for both environmental and bottom line benefits. We also ensure thorough, effective communication is sustained with multiple building stakeholders across a full FM package.
The Process.
Logic FM ensures all Landlord legislation responsibilities are monitored and maintained. All requirements are scheduled and reported regularly, protecting Kathmandu and the Landlord against any unforeseen time lapses. We monitor any change/alteration of Kathmandu brand.
The Solution.
Logic FM engaged to provide full facilities management services, including administration of building warranty, defects and maintenance periods, management of planned and reactive maintenance, compliance monitoring and building warrant of fitness certification.
