DRIVEN BY EXCELLENCE
Phase One:
Commenced late 2015 and involved preliminary work on Earthquake strengthening and the hostel refurbishment.
Phase Two:
Innovative learning environment upgrades in Block A2.
The feasibility on the hostel refurbishment vs. new build options were the initial challenge on Phase one. Managing staged upgrade of buildings in agreement with the local Council to proceed in stages. Working in operational facilities – i.e. during school term.
Reviewing experience from similar hostel facilities and consultants/government made the process to find solutions readily available. Manipulated the program (timelines) to coincide with as much of the disruptive work to be scheduled outside school hours (where possible). Meet with Councils, BOT’s, stakeholders, and other parties to educate, coordinate workable solutions.
As part of the 5-year and 10-year maintenance plans, further rationalisation, asbestos removal, drama/music facilities upgrade works continue to be identified and coordinated with necessary parities. Logic will continue to communicate with stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are met.
