Clearwater Apartments, Level 4, Forsyth Barr House, 165 Stuart Street Dunedin 9058

Construction has commenced on Clearwater Apartments, a boutique luxury apartment development. Logic Group are working closely with Marty Verry, (Redstag), under a construction management contract. The construction methodology is off to an innovative start – instead of the usual dewatering of the site, we lowered the lake 🙂

Knox College, Level 4, Forsyth Barr House, 165 Stuart Street Dunedin 9058

The exterior cladding is 90% complete and we are preparing the exterior for a wash down and repaint. The scaffold dismantle is progressing and the grassed courtyard will be handed over to the landscapers this week to rejuvenate to grass again after two months of foot traffic.

The internal fit-out of Maniototo Hospital is on its final days of completion. Over the next few weeks the services will be commissioned,  furniture installed and landscaping completed.

The new $7.0m Maniototo Hospital is scheduled to be completed in time for its mid-February audit. The first Hayward College refurbishment project toolbox talk for 2019 took place outside in the brilliant Dunedin sunshine. Between 120-140 people are on site everyday to ensure this project is handed over to the University of Otago in time for the students arrival.

We had a fantastic night at the Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Council Industry Awards 2018 on Friday, with the Otago Polytechnic Student Village project receiving two awards. Excellence, Resene Green Building Property Award Merit, Arrow International Multi-Unit Residential Property Award Well done team!

Otago Polytechnic, Logic Group, Level 4, Forsyth Barr House, 165 Stuart Street Dunedin 9058

It was full steam ahead last Friday (25th November) with ground stabilisation and foundation preparation well underway for the 231-room Otago Polytechnic new student accommodation building. The foundations are scheduled to be poured mid-December closely followed by the arrival on site of the CLT (cross laminated timber) panels on the 16th January 2017.
