The West Wing roof of the Otago Polytechnic Student Village was completed this week, and the services continue to be installed in the 5 floors on this Wing. Today the Dunedin Mayor, Dave Cull, and Councillors Marie Laufiso, Jim O’Malley and Lee Vandervis took the opportunity to view progress.
We are at a critical part of the Otago Polytechnic Student Accommodation project with the setting out of the Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) walls. It was full steam ahead last Friday (25th November) with ground stabilisation and foundation preparation well underway for the 231-room Otago Polytechnic new student accommodation building. The foundations are scheduled to be poured mid-December closely followed by the arrival on site of the CLT (cross laminated timber) panels on the 16th January 2017.
