The Meridian Mall is a large, 16,000sqm retail complex in the heart of Dunedin’s commercial district. The mall was constructed between 1995-1997, and contains 50 shops spread over three levels, including a large food court on the lower level.
Above these three levels is a carpark, plus corporate offices and a doctor’s surgery. Logic FM began providing partial Facilities Management to the complex, including Building Compliance Monitoring, in August 2015.
Meridian is now around 20 years old and is entering a phase of expected lifecycle maintenance. Stakeholder management on the Meridian involves the successful engagement of 50 plus parties. Provision of a tailored, partial and responsive FM package for client.
Having acquired a clear understanding of key stakeholder requirements, we assessed current systems for recording non-compliance issues, and developed a maintenance schedule relevant to Meridian’s current daily operation, including regular building audits.
Completion of maintenance schedule, ensuring building is fit for purpose, and procuring best value to maintain the buildings assets. Ensure maintenance schedule and repairs required are communicated to stakeholders, and contractors engaged to repair in a timely manner.
