The Maniototo Hospital new build is progressing well, with painting and floor coverings underway in the main Hospital. The access road is being prepared for asphalting and the Boiler House, Wood Chip Bunker and related services are well underway.
The roof, and windows are now in place, with work approximately 1 week ahead of schedule. Currently the sub-trades are well into the first fix. The doors have arrived, and are being installed.

The new car park at Mercy Hospital is in its last two weeks of construction. The final of the concrete slabs are being poured this week.
Framing is now being erected and should be completed by 29th June. The trusses arrive on site next week. It’s looking good!
The successful drilling of the new stormwater pipe route under Marinoto Clinic and the pouring of the Grid C concrete beam have been recently completed. Our attention now turns to the installation of the concrete beams and flat slabs. The car park is on track to be completed late July 2018.
The slab preparation, block laying and drainage complete. Last week we celebrated the first pour of 3. Frost protection has been addressed by laying polystyrene slabs on top of the new concrete foundations.
The rain over the last few days has turned the Mercy Hospital Car Park site into a lake! It took three pumps working flat out to get rid of excess water so they could carry on with the construction.
Good progress is being made on the new Mercy Hospital car park. There will be 96 car parks once the development has been completed. The majority of the excavation is now complete and the installation of the under-slab stormwater pipework has progressed. This project has a completion date of 31st July 2018.
