External condition surveys were undertaken this week for the Dunedin City Council. Heritage Architects, Structural Engineers and a Stonemason consultant were lifted over and around the Dunedin Town Hall and Municipal chambers assessing the building structure. Reports are due soon.
Its all go on site at Otago Polytechnic Trades Centre in Cromwell. The steel portals are being lifted into place. The programme remains on track for completion at the end of October 2018.

Framing is now being erected and should be completed by 29th June. The trusses arrive on site next week. It’s looking good!
We had a fantastic night at the Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Council Industry Awards 2018 on Friday, with the Otago Polytechnic Student Village project receiving two awards. Excellence, Resene Green Building Property Award Merit, Arrow International Multi-Unit Residential Property Award Well done team!
The slab pour occurred this week for the new Central Campus development at the Bannockburn Road site. Prior to this, the site was blessed by Francie Diver of Alexandra.
The successful drilling of the new stormwater pipe route under Marinoto Clinic and the pouring of the Grid C concrete beam have been recently completed. Our attention now turns to the installation of the concrete beams and flat slabs. The car park is on track to be completed late July 2018.
